Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of FlowPlan applications, including WeddingFlow and any future applications published under the FlowPlan name ("the App" or "Apps"). By purchasing, installing, or using any FlowPlan App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

FlowPlan Apps are client-side Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) designed for personal planning and organisation. They run entirely in your web browser, store data locally on your device, and require no account creation or internet connection after initial installation.

2. License

2.1 Grant of License

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the App on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.

2.2 License Key

Each purchase includes a license key that activates the App. Your license key is for your personal use only. You may use the same key on multiple personal devices you own (one device at a time is the intended use). You may not distribute, publish, or share your license key publicly.

FlowPlan Apps are sold as a one-time purchase through third-party platforms (Etsy, Gumroad, or other authorised channels). The purchase price is clearly displayed at the time of sale. There are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

All payment processing, refund handling, and transaction disputes are managed by the platform through which you purchase. Please refer to the refund policy of your purchase platform.

4. Your Data

4.1 Local Storage

All data you enter into the App is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's localStorage. FlowPlan does not collect, access, store, or transmit your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. The App provides an Export/Backup feature for this purpose. FlowPlan is not responsible for data loss caused by:

5. Updates and Support

5.1 Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix issues, or add features. Updates are delivered automatically through the App's service worker when you are connected to the internet. You can also manually check for updates in the App's Settings. We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely.

5.2 Support

Basic support is provided through the platform where you purchased the App (Etsy messages, Gumroad support, etc.). We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support inquiries, but we do not guarantee response times or resolution of all issues.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and branding, is the intellectual property of FlowPlan. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. The purchase of a license does not transfer any ownership rights in the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlowPlan and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: personal planning and organisation. You agree not to use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

10. Termination

Your license to use the App continues indefinitely as long as you comply with these Terms. We reserve the right to revoke your license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by redistributing the App commercially). Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

11. Third-Party Platforms

The App is distributed through third-party platforms (Etsy, Gumroad, etc.). Your use of these platforms is governed by their own terms of service. FlowPlan is not responsible for the policies, actions, or availability of these platforms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the purchase platform where feasible.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
