This Privacy Policy describes how FlowPlan and its apps (including WeddingFlow and any future FlowPlan applications) handle your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Who We Are

FlowPlan apps are developed and published by FlowPlan (operated by Rachel Gibb). Our apps are distributed through platforms including Etsy, Gumroad, and our own websites.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data Stored on Your Device

FlowPlan apps are client-side Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). All data you enter into the app — including but not limited to names, dates, budgets, guest lists, vendor information, tasks, notes, and photos — is stored exclusively in your web browser's local storage on your own device. We do not have access to this data. It is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service.

2.2 License Keys

When you purchase a FlowPlan app, you receive a license key. The key is validated locally within the app using an algorithmic check. No license data is transmitted to our servers.

2.3 Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, process, or transmit:

• Personal information you enter into the app
• Your name, email address, or contact information (beyond what you voluntarily provide when purchasing through a third-party platform)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Cookies for tracking purposes

2.4 Website Analytics

Our marketing websites (such as getplanmywedding.com) may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand page visits and referral sources. These analytics do not track individual users, do not use cookies, and do not collect personally identifiable information.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

All app data resides in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• Your data stays on your device and is not synced to any cloud service
• Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app will delete your data
• Your data is specific to the browser and device you use
• We strongly recommend using the built-in Export/Backup feature regularly to protect against data loss

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party. Since your app data never leaves your device, there is no data for us to share.

5. Third-Party Platforms

When you purchase a FlowPlan app, the transaction is processed by the platform through which you buy (e.g., Etsy, Gumroad). These platforms have their own privacy policies governing the purchase transaction, payment processing, and any account information you provide to them. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:

6. Children's Privacy

FlowPlan apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the apps store data only on the user's own device, no personal information of any user is transmitted to us.

7. Data Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device, its security is managed by your device's own security measures (device passcode, browser security, etc.). We recommend:

• Using a device passcode or biometric lock
• Regularly backing up your data using the app's Export feature
• Being cautious when sharing your device with others

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are inherently satisfied — you already have full control over your data on your device. You can:

• Export your data at any time using the app's built-in backup feature
• Delete your data at any time by clearing the app's data in your browser settings or using the in-app reset option
• Transfer your data to another device using the Export and Import features

9. Service Workers and Caching

FlowPlan apps use service workers to enable offline functionality and faster loading. Service workers cache app files (code and assets) on your device. They do not cache or transmit your personal data. You can clear the service worker cache at any time through the app's "Check for updates" feature in Settings, or by clearing your browser's site data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of any FlowPlan app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
